Domaine de Triennes | Superstar Owners
So, in 1989, two Burgundians, Jacques Seysses, founder of Domaine Dujac, and Aubert de Villaine, joined by their Parisian friend, Michel Macaux, went in search of new vineyards. Their attention turned to Provence where they were convinced that the potential for great wines was enormous.
Their Burgundian experience convincing that the quality of great wines comes from the vineyard. So the new owners began by investing heavily in the renewal and the tending of the vines. While focusing on the vineyard remains a priority to this day.
We make our wines the way we like to drink them. For the whites and the rosé, this means a constant search for freshness and aromas. Most of all, simple winemaking without cosmetics. Wines from winemakers.
