Today’s Tom Eddy Elodian Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 once again proves that an iconoclastic veteran winemaker can elevate even the most brilliant of vintages. But if you ask Winemaker Tom Eddy, he’s always quick to credit everyone and anyone else, from the picking crew to the growers to the vineyards.
“It’s the potpourri of multiple vineyards that is ‘Elodian’,” he’s told us. “During any given harvest, the ‘Elodian’ can be a blend of up to eight different vineyard sites throughout Napa. Tom completed his enology degree at the University of California Davis in 1974.
